We are Sven and Candice, a duo seeking to explore the possibility of self-sufficiency in a modern world.

Our aim is to learn and upskill in the areas of gardening, building, cooking and baking from scratch, and to pick up a few life skills along the way. We have chosen to settle in sunny Queensland, Australia, where we have purchased just under 2 acres of land to start our journey. Our family is complete with our two fur babies Zoom and Blue. We look forward to adding a few more critters to the mix in the future.

We began documenting our journey via YouTube in 2023 and continue to learn from each experience.

We currently both work full time, but are seeking a more humble, adventure filled life to fully enjoy our short time on this earth.
